I'm always looking for interesting work. I am a dreamer who loves coffee on the daily, building, and solving problems.
Originally from Quito, Ecuador I grew up in the midwest, got my undergraduate in architectural studies at the University of Kansas and moved to Seattle shortly after in 2006. I joined a framing crew to learn light wood residential framing. A year later I went from working in the field to working in the shop at Henrybuilt. It was a great learning experience where I was able to learning material flow, purchasing and managing vendors and inventory, as well as working on installations, prototyping, and various aspects of fabrication. That experience led me back to school to pursue a masters of architecture at the University of Kansas. I spent a summer in Copenhagen and the next summer in New York. In my final year of school I was part of Studio 804 where we designed and built and addition to our own school of architecture at KU.
I'm back in the world looking for exciting projects, looking to continue building, and traveling wherever, and whenever, possible. I'm teaching a second year studio at KU and building with Hurst Construction in the KC area.
